Dear All,
I am writing this after hesitation for a few days whether I shoud submit this article thru Eco-generation. I have been attending singing practice with a few other students in Emirates Environmental Group(EEG) for a song to promote recycling of tetra packs. I am sure many of EEG friends also will be writing about this after this gets finalised. Like the Gangnam style is very popular in UAE and many countries, Dance, Music and art have no language. They are truly the means to spread the message that all humans are the same.
However on a personal side, I have been attending a Singing competition in my mother tongue Tamil and I have reached the Pre finals of the same which has 18 candidates out of nearly 300 they started with. From now, the votes secured by the candidates also will have a share of marks in entering the finals and for deciding the winner. I am attaching a Youtube link which I request my eco-generation friends to visit and if you like it you may please vote for me by cliking the like after you log into the Youtube account.
The reason I am writing here is that if I am able to reach higher levels, I can use the platform to promote Environmentally friendly songs and this is definitely a likely success theme for the future to spread eco awareness. I wanted to submit this yesterday but could not do due to the website shutdown.

Dear Simran, Christy, Shruti and all others, Thank you all for your kind encouraging words and it was a pleasant journey to be in this competition over the past 4 months. I did not make it to the finals. The orchestra team played a high pitch tune and I am still not so comfortble in singing very high notes, So I could not make it to the finals this time.

Great that you posted this report. Eco Generation, I am also part of this project and wish to add something which Neha missed out- The lyrics for the song were also contributed by Cartoona Club members ( means some of us ) and then a final song was composed from that. This project has been ongoing since summer.
