Birds truly are living ornaments in the growing towns and cities of the UAE and we as residents do have a responsibility towards these feathered friends. In this heat of Dubai, where we cannot spend even a few minutes without an AC, we at least owe these birds a continuous supply of water.

We all can do our bit to help these birds. All you need to do is keep a bowl of water in your balcony. I personally keep bowls food and water both, for these birds so that they too can hydrate themselves with clean drinking water. Looking at them, when they come, drink water, chirp sweetly, take a break and enjoy the cool water makes me feel gratified. After all if we have the right to clean drinking water we also bear the responsibility of supplying these birds with some.

By this small selfless action of ours, we jointly can bring a difference in the lives of these little feathered friends and in return these sweet little angels will remain in our memories when we capture them through our camera lens (as I have done) when they are having their afternoon refreshments. I have managed to capture these photos with my camera through my room?s window where I usually sit to study.
