My Uncle Peter and his friends decided to mark December 12 or 12-12-12 with a special event. They did a mangrove treeplanting with their volunteer friends in Punta Taytay in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. They started with a briefing on proper handling of mangrove stalks and the correct way to plant them in the muddy grounds. It took the BACIWA staff Glenn just 5 seconds to brief all the volunteers.
