Be a wise electrical energy consumer. |
---|
Save Energy! It persuades us to be a wiser when we use energy. Have you did it as your habit? Since last year, in my dormitory, I took initiative to make a note to save more energy. I post a simple sentence like ?save energy, please!? in the power supply terminal. And I and my roommate tried to make it an habit.
This January, I got a chance to take an internship in Indonesia Power, a company which produces electrical energy or called power system generation company. Here, I learned that produces electrical energy is not simply as we imagine, it needs more extra resources untill electrical energy produced. With the resources we have, we never got 100% efficiency, to much energy lost.
Here, with the coal (I know it is not friendly for our mother earth) as main energy, electrical energy produced. In Indonesia, the coal still be a main energy to produces electrical energy. I don?t know when it end, may be until no coal found. The Renewable energy such as Water and Geothermal Energy still didn?t maximal to covered electrical needed in national scale of Indonesia.
Here I realize that our habit as electrical consumer should be change to be wiser. |

Hi..Yeah there are aboundance supply of renewable resources such as water and geothermal..perhaps Indonesian government can innovatively utilize it
and another source is.....
the alternative eco-friendly energy is biofuel using green fuels, for instance jatopra curcas oil, nyamplung oil, and etc

Yes..We should use renewable energy. It's known all the electricity provided from a country can be wasted if people use less than the average amount, and no electricity might be provided to some cities if people use too much electricity..It's better for us to use less electricity!

nice report, thanks for sharing, you will be surprised to know that 0.82 kg CO2 is emitted in producing 1KWh ( 1 unit in india , an average home uses atleast 20 units daily). so, on an average, we are emitting 16.4 kg CO2 per day , per home. it means around 500 kg CO2 per month , 6000 kg CO2 per year per home. an average tree absorbs about 3.66 to 10 kg co2 , so for coping with current consumption of only electricity , we need 600 - 2000 trees per house. but current is not even one, think what is going to happen , every unit means approx. 1 kg co2.so, saving electricity is very important
