WARMTH SHARING::save energy, promote companionship, increase profit

In Japan, a new environment-friendly, cost-efficient trend is spreading throughout the Islands. This trend is called Warmth Sharing, which is the communal use of warm and toasty places to save electricity. As worldwide average winter temperatures are lower than last year, the demand for electricity has increased, and steadily rising oil prices are all comprehensively casting a threat of blackouts and electricity deficiencies. And one of the most effective ideas to overcome this crisis is warmth sharing.

Warmth sharing can be achieved through a variety of methods. One of the simplest ways is having the whole family spending time together in a single heated room, instead of each family member staying in a different room and having to heat the whole big house. At a wider perspective, community members can come out of their houses and spend time at local public places such as libraries, stores, fitness centers, cafes, or restaurants so that they do not have to heat each of their residences. They can also kill time at local hot-springs or saunas since these public baths are operated consuming massive amounts of heat and energy regardless of the existence or number of customers. Through these efforts Japan was able to save wasted and inefficient energy in times of icy-cold winters.

However, the great part of warmth sharing does not end here. In addition to saving power, community spirit and local revenues could be boosted as additional benefits.

Since community members get together at local venues for warmth sharing, they get to spend time together instead of living as strangers, which can foster the interchange between neighbors. Family members can also stimulate ?family love? between parents and parent-avoiding teenagers at puberty.

Moreover local businesses can increase their profits with promoting the spread of warmth sharing. By coming out of their homes denizens have to get to somewhere. Although those places could be public venues such as libraries, citizens also get together at commercial venues such as restaurants, cafes, stores, and local saunas, so the local business industry could be invigorated.

Japan has gained gargantuan benefits by saving energy and simultaneously promoting local economic growth and benevolence between citizens through a very simple campaign called warmth sharing now I suggest other nations in the world to also benchmark this phenomenon to promote the conservation of worldwide energy.

After stopping using nuclear power due to the Fukushima disaster, the shortage of electricity got serious. It is a very good solution!
