When I go out of our compound to the lakeshore on weekends I am happy to see people doing lake clean-up. It is not really lake clean-up because they don't go down to the lake and remove trash or rotting bamboos from the water. But it is more like lakeshore clean-up. It's not really a coordinated thing but just groups of people who want to do their part in cleaning up the area. I am very proud of our citizens here in San Pablo City because they take the initiative and do it on their own.
Last weekend it was the doctors of the San Pablo City Medical Society that did a lakeshore clean-up and today it was college students from the Laguna State Polytechnic University. Thanks, guys! You are such a big help to Mother Earth! Doctors photo is (c) San Pablo City Medical Society
