UAE?S 2ND PLANT-FOR-THE-PLANET ACADEMY |

On 23rd March , as a buildup towards EARTH HOUR , Kehkashan Basu , Academy Coordinator , and members from GREEN HOPE UAE will conduct UAE?s 2nd PLANT-FOR-THE-PLANET academy and take their fight for climate justice to the next level. ?STOP TALKING, START PLANTING? is the slogan and in effect it urges everybody to shrug off complacency and take action. I conducted UAE?s first ever PLANT-FOR-THE-PLANET academy on 22nd Sep,2012 and it was a huge success with scores of students from across the UAE attending and becoming CLIMATE JUSTICE AMBASSADORS . We planted a record 64 saplings in one day. The press reported this widely and helped us to spread our message for climate justice. GULF NEWS : 7DAYS – DUBBED ME AS "UAE'S GREEN GIRL?
