Our planet Earth is 70% covered by water, essentially maritime. Freshwater represents 2.53% of the total amount of water and only 1% of the water on earth is immediately and easily accessible for our daily needs. Water plays a very important role in the life of all living beings present in our world. Thanks to seawater, there is a great diversity of life and water rights to ensure food, food production, navigation and a wide variety of jobs. Freshwater (glaciers, river water and groundwater) is used in various forms. 70% of available water is used for irrigation of agricultural land. Water is involved in the daily life of man, food, beverage, personal care and general health. More than 19% of the electrical energy in the world comes from hydroelectricity.. But since 1940, water withdrawals from rivers and groundwater have increased from 2.5 to 3% die account of demographic change and efforts to ensure access to all basic necessities and new modes life. Gradually, people population growth, increased water intake and water withdrawals have tripled over the last 50 years. In Africa, for example, Lake Chad has lost 90% of its original area and according to UNEP, the decline is due to human use and the lack of effectiveness of dams and irrigation. Given the population growth at this rate dramatically increased food needs of the world's population will experience an increase of 70% compared to what we have now, and if nothing is done, the cost of water will be tripled., but as many natural resources of water and not inexhaustible. Water reserves in the world are practically stable. It works, but does not increase. In total, it is estimated that this system is 1.4milliards km3, of which only about 14 million km3 are easily accessible in the form of fresh water. Given this situation, it is necessary for reasonable use of water resources to ensure future generations to preserve life on earth. Already, 700 million people suffer from lack of water and by 2025, it is estimated that 1.8 billion people live in areas facing water scarcity and two-thirds of the world's population will experience a situation water stress. It is therefore essential to protect the ecosystems involved in the freshwater supply. It is essential to make good use of the water, it involves irrigation systems to reduce water loss, the selection of crops that require less water, and finally increase the recycling of wastewater for irrigation uses and sanitation. And whether you realize it takes 3000 liters of water to produce jeans trousers and 300 liters of water to produce one liter of beer, and there is a good reason to change our lifestyle to aquatic life. Several techniques and technologies are currently being implemented by industry and universities around the world to reduce the wastage of water in agriculture, irrigation, sanitation, health, recycling to control to ensure sustainable use of the goods which is becoming increasingly valuable. What can you do now,  in the afternoon, tomorrow? for the rest of your life  to insure the sustainability of the water for the future generation??

700 million is a really huge number. If we imagine the pain they are going under, immediate steps for improvement must be taken.

Thank you for your sharing on water problem.
It is much more terrible thing for Africa continent.
The water resources of the continent is decreasing rapidly.
If we take the population growth rate into account, we would not want to imagine the result.
