Free Relation Awakening Project - Shah Alam's Trees for life tree planting session with Eco Warriors Malaysia March 2013.

On the Saturday, 18 May 2013, upon continuing the usual acts of volunteerism and community service, we went along with a tree planting exercise that we partake as our monthly volunteerism in the name of going green. It was a sunny Saturday morning when we all went out for the program with more than 400 volunteers from different universities, colleges, junior high schools and even primaries together with some companies and clubs too. It was really great. We strode along the LKSA Highway and the meeting spot was SMK Seksyen 18, Sekyen 18, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Many gathered for the Shah Alam Trees for Life monthly tree planting program in groups. Varieties of fruit, hedging and even avenue trees were planted. It was really awesome as seeing children, the youth and even adults all involved in the exercise. I had some friends from around the world. Laura and her friend from Italy, Christine from Australia etc.

I would like to thank all those Volunteers who donated their valuable time in planting trees on this precious day that made us see ourselves contributing to mother earth. We look forward to you joining us on the other activities to come in help address global warming and making the world a greener place. Through the course of the exercise, I discovered that, One cannot feel self-worth without giving, when the question, what will I give those around me today comes around.
