Project on reduction of wood for packaging in India |

This refers our project on saving of wood from packaging. So far 3 pallets were made and tried out . Hope within Jun'13 the pallets will be implemented on regulr basis. Toal 200 nos such steel pallets will be made for recycle them on regular basis. agree about the weight according to arushi. alternative are to be studied for the protection of resources and environmental balance

Hi Rajashree , I appreciate your point but am thinking that steel is 8 times heavier than wood so if material in steel pallets is transported then freight would be higher than for wooden palletised goods. Also it will be loss when good are sent on steel pallets to customers for goods delivery as the pallets never come back .
