DPS Sharjah wins Bee'ah Environmental Awareness award |

This time on the world environment day, my school, the DPS Sharjah, won the prestigious Bee'ah- Sharjah Award For Environmental Awareness-an initiative created by Bee?ah, the Middle East?s leading and award-winning integrated environment and waste management company – along with its partners under the direction of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council of the UAE and Ruler of Sharjah.
This annual competition, now in its third year, aims to recognise and honour schools within Sharjah, in special accomplishments, academic excellence, school spirit, and projects in promoting the environment. I was proud to know that my school was the coveted winner of this award. I am really delighted to be a part of this school. The credit for the hard work and dedication put in goes to our principal, Vandana Marwaha, our active environment co-ordinator, Ms. Anjum Hasan and 10 students extraordinaire who worked whole heartedly towards this cause with a great amount of determination. Congrats, Delhi Private School, Sharjah!! I am proud of my school!!! |

Hey Rohan , I am with you for this pride feeling. I am one of the 10 girls who worked for this project. Felt elated receiving this award. I remember missing classes and stay backs for this and its paid off.
