Every Year, To Celebrate World Environment Days, Ministry of Environment Republic of Indonesia hosted an event with the titled ?Indonesia Environment Week(IEW)?. This Year, IEW 2013 held in Jakarta Convention Center on May 30 untill June 2^nd 2013. The theme of IEW this year is ?Think, Eat and Save? due to the WED 2013 theme from UNEP.

There were many activities in IEW 2013 suc as performance in main stage, competition for the student, fun bike, and expo. The expo was filled by Government (BLH), Company, and NGO in Indonesia.

I visited the Indonesia Environment Week on Sunday, June 2^nd 2013. I visited every booth. In the booth SKK Migas Indonesia, I got new knowledge how to reduce and recycle plastic bags. The booth promoter explained us new method to recycled plastic bags with ironed it. this method is the same way when we making tarpaulin (hard plastic).

I stayed for long time in the Chevron Booth. I wa in charge to help the visitor in the booth. They campaign about Green Corridor Initives in Mount Halimun-Salak. The Corridor is to save Owa Jawa (Hylobates moloch), Macan Tutul (Panthera pardus melas) and Elang Jawa (Nisaetus bartelsi). Besides the campaign, we educated visitor with the game ?Jungle Defender? and Guess the Seeds. The winner in the Guess the seed would get a seed, soil, pot and fertilizer. (Reported by Bambang Sutrisno)
