The Tree of Hope

by | 25-06-2013 22:46 recommendations 0

During our Plant-for-the-Planet academy which we conducted at Deira International School on 8th June , we used several innovation communication tools to raise awareness about climate change. The foremost amongst them was a One Act Play titled "A Green Life" which written by me and perfomed by Green Hope UAE members. Through this play , we communicated the rise in carbon emissions due to fossil fuels and how we can improve sustainability by moving to "clean energy " sources.

This academy saw 8 new presenters from the Climate Justice Ambassadors inducted in our previous academy. The highlight of the day was posting of pledges on a special tree cutout which we called the Tree of Hope. All the newly ordained Climate Justice Ambassadors stuck messages recording their pledges for a sustainable future.
