Involving students for energy savings through green drama at school.

In my new school (Christ church Girls senior secondary school , Jabalpur India) my friends and myself took the initiative of spreading green message through green drama . On 6th July 2013 my friends and myself presented a drama on how to take action to reduce misuse of electricity in our school. The play was appreciated by principle, MRS. P. THANGADURAI.

Through this play we showed the different ways to reduce misuse of electricity in our school and making "Atal Jyoti Abhiyan" successful . Atal Jyoti Abhiyan is an initiative taken by the government of Madhya Pradesh India to supply electricity in every village of Madhya Pradesh .In this mission we as school can take part to reduce misuse of electricity in our school and support nation.

We have formed a green action team, who will be guiding the students of my new school how to reduce of electricity consumption in our school.

Name of the play :- Taking actions at school, To make "Atal Jyoti Abhiyan" successful.

Time – 7:40 AM to 7:55 AM Venue :- Class – VI B , 3rd. Floor.

Synopsis :- Showing actions taken to reduce misuse of electricity at school by involving students and staffs. Teacher helped students to realize the situation, formed green action team, team worked and got result. Involved most of the students and initiated similar action at their homes and societies, supported to nation for saving of electricity .

Thanks to our teacher , Miss. Tripi Moses for guiding us and extending support for organising . The initiave was started in our class by our class teacher Mrs. Shobha Diwan , who is on leave.

Harshita, Shristi, Ishita, Rajashree, Urvija, Khushi and Subhanshi and others team members had sang a song on save energy in the rhythm of popular song "we shall overcome"my new school, christ church girl's senior secondary school, Jabalpur, India, had its nascent beginnings in the vestry of Christ Church in the year 1870 and was then known as Christ Church school. our school today is 143 years old.our principal is addressing after our drama. she instructed us to spread this message in the school, decorate main board of the school on such theme of "energy savings", do energy audit and encouraged us for such initiatives and group performanceHarshita and Shristi, played role of "members of green action team" found busy in making the greenmy supporting team - Ishita, Andrea, Hargun and Shristi have supported me to organize the green dramaIshita played role of "captaion of green action team" - recording observation in energy audit and addressing students how to save "misuse of electricity school"Khushi played role of "water cooler" - shown it was running even after school hours in the dramaShubhanshi played role of "member of green action team" - sticking sticker on every switch board in the dramaHarshita, Shristi, Urvija and Ishita are playing role as "members of green action team" and busy in their actions in the dramaHarshita, Shristi and Ishita played role of "members of green action team" spreading message through green poster amde as a part of drama

    Great...Do you have a recording of the drame? It would be really nice...Few weeks back we also had staged an environmental skit for the workers...I am yet to upload the video..
