Earth Hour Algeria 2016 |

19 March 2016 in the castle of culture, it was a big day. Earth Hour Algeria was enriching by a conference, green debates and associative village.
The Green Debaters is a debate among members of the club under the theme: "this meeting believes that environmental protection is the responsibility of the citizen, not the government."
For better awareness towards the environment and climate change, which we are all responsible actors and where everyone can intervene scale, against energy waste, against the emissions of greenhouse gas, against pollution, against individualism, and for sustainable development, for clean energy, for environmental culture, to add our voice to those calling for the preservation and protection of the earth belong to us, it is our responsibility, we act with our good behavior. The minister of Culture Azzedine Mihoubi was present to say his word about the event and the climate change. Many other non governmental organizations and associations were present in the event. |

Sara, celebrating Earth Hour at the national scale helps a lot at promoting this event to citizens. There are actually a lot who are willing to save the environment but are ignorant at these events or programs. I agree with you that all people can intervene in cleaning the Earth, even though that act may be a very trivial thing. Thanks for posting, and keep up the great work :-)

Sara! thanks for bringing us news from Algeria. I don't come across news from the country very often. It's good to hear from there like this.
