Sustainability in business for a greener life |

The world international day of environment is celebrated on the 5th June all around the world. Tuksiad(All Industrialists and Businessmen's Association) and the Global Compact Turkey have choosen this period to organize a set of environmental events in Istanbul,Turkey.
1- Forum on sustainable finance 2-SÜR 2016 Konferans (2016 conference on sustainability)
Tuksiad is a businessmen association that has a huge commitment to sustainable development. During this month of June, the organization in association with the European Bank for reconstruction and Development (EBRD) organized SUR 2016. [Sürdürülebilir in Turkish =Sustainable in English]
During SUR, the speakers emphases on the utility and the importance of sustainable practice in business and investments.We then successively debate about topics like: "Wind ambassadors" "How green is your Apple" "This farm is another farm " "The most valuable investment"

Sustainability is major issues nowadays. Previously people used to conduct business without considering any of its impacts on the environment. But now things have changed and corporations are taking into account of how their operations are impacting the community as well as their stakeholders.

The alarming levels of global warming and consequences in the form of climate change are strong evidences that each and every stakeholder, segment, buisness need to have sustainable approach. Thanks for the report.
