A disease which is hollowing out the Earth-Global Warming

by | 21-07-2016 01:35 recommendations 0

Global Warming- Everyone is aware about the term and most of us are known about how it takes place, but how many of us are actually working on it to get prevented?

Let's take an overview on Global Warming in order to make a neat and clean understanding. The term global warming is used to describe gradual increase in the average of temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its ocean. In simple words, Global Warming is a sound disease which is hollowing out the Earth planet and its infection is impacting its living beings.

Now, what's the root cause of Global Warming? So simple, Carbon Dioxide- it releases when fossil fuels such as oil and coal, are burned for energy. Additionally, landfills are also the contributor of methane and other greenhouse gases, and when the waste is burnt, it releases toxic gases in the atmosphere which results in Global Warming. Another cause can be added is 'Deforestation' because forests are safeguards of climate and they absorb CO2 and exhaust H2O.

Thereafter, outcomes of Global Warming- it is damaging Ozone Layers, results in direct entrance of Ultraviolet rays on the Earth which is causing high temperature and incurable diseases. Few most visible impacts are: lack of rain, glaciers get beginning to thaw, draught in desert zones etc.

At last, what role I can play to prevent global warming as an individual? because one should be known to his/her responsibilities first then you are allowed to aware others.
According to personal research, one should take following steps to contribute their services to medicate Global Warming:
-Efficient use of energy
-Increase in wind and solar power
-Stop cutting down trees and work on plantation
-Recycling of waste instead of burning them out
-Developing and deploying new low-carbon and less-carbon technologies
-Ensuring sustainable development

Nilesh, nice and very well-written report. Carbon dioxide is definitely one of the causes for global warming that's why we are trying to develop renewable energy source that do not emit such elements. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Thanks for posting Nilesh! Yeah we should all, at least, know that global warming is real and each of us is somehow contributing to this. have a good day!

Thanks for a very 'to the point' report. Everyone is impacted by global warming and everyone is contributing to it by his individual carbon footprint. So each of us, everyone has responsibility towards environment.
