As we all are aware Ramadan is a month of Tolerance, Prayer, Forgiveness & Giving Back to Society. These hard working laborers work day & night and in Fasting also. The immense contribution from all our members of Serve The Heroes has helped us to distribute Iftaar to Approx. 250 Workers of Bee'ah at Sajja Labour Camp in Sharjah. We covered two labour camps in the vicinity. It was a touching moment to serve them Iftaar, The most satisfying meal after 14 hours of fasting. The hot evening was not a deterrent to the enthusiastic children of the team of "Serve The Heroes", who willingly handed over Water Bottle, Chilled Laban, Fresh Apple, Banana, A Packet of Cake, A Pack of Dates to each worker. When children serves them at their resting place (after workers have served us on streets and are tired & are resting) , the workers feel elated, they feel cared, they are an integral part of our society. A sense of belongingness take over. Though it is holiday season & most of our mates are travelling but Ramadan comes once in a year & we did not wanted to miss this holy month without serving the workers, therefore we carried out this activity with reduced manpower but full enthusiasm and all smiles. I am thankful to all the Volunteers for their overwhelming support & strong spirit of services. I am sure that the same tempo shall be carried over in ensuing months as well. May Almighty Allah shower the blessings, as ever, to all of us.
