I have been participating a project which basically makes a green rooftop, then build a concave to store the rainwater, and let stored rainwater to cool the building system : a technique to have green sustainable buildings.
Students roll is measuring the temperature of given model to prove rain water's cooling effects and sustaining green roofs.
It has been amazing to see not just planting seeds for viewing gardens but harvesting vegetables such as potatoes, yams, peppers, and tomatoes on the rooftop gardens. Even beehives have been put there.
In Korea, because of cost, green designs are not a popular field still compare to other developed countries.
Project is still going onhowever, rain water storage system on the rooftop will be a great way to help green living of Korea in the future.

Alberta, conserving rain water through roof tops is very impressive. If this technology comes to reality, countries that have much rain could utilize it well. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Rain water cooling system sounds really cool and sustainable. In countries with abundant rainfall, it should be implemented in more and more buildings. Thanks for sharing.
