30th Environmental Awareness Workshop and Leadership Programme

by Dharmendra Kapri | 20-08-2016 02:14 recommendations 0

On, 12th August 2016 I organized another Environmental Awareness workshop and Leadership Programme for government school students based on Green lifestyle which was attended by 47 students.

As usual I started with some basic concepts and questions like-What is Environment?, What is Environmental Pollution, Climate Change, Global Warming etc. Then I asked every student to share their daily lifestyle.

After the greenlifestyle session I divided them in 5 groups for a group activity to discuss various topics i.e.- What people from different backgrounds, societies can do to save our environment, what should be done to save our environment: Ideas and recommendations etc.

At the end of the workshop I asked them about the Role of children in society and environmental conservation and what they can do to save our Environment.

After that I also promoted our Tunza Eco Generation platform among the students and gave them TEG leaflets, pens, post-its, B.card and other stationery and remind them to look at the Tunza Eco-Generation website to see wonderful work carried on by all of us.

Looks like such a fun and interactive session! Hopefully, if I get selected as an ambassador, I will be able to promote Tunza like you during these sessions. Also, would love to know what ideas/recs you received from the children. Thanks for sharing Dharmendra!
