Goverment and Enviroment |
---|
Hi guys, hope your all ok and having great summer.
Now I participate in summer seminar "Europe and Liberty" and we have a big discussion about Enviromental issue and goverment involment. There is opinion that we dont need enviromental regulation because owners want to protect their property and they will just not pollute it, but with goverment regulation and goverment property this is dont work because it now have an owner and as a result only goverment land have polluted all the time. I think this have sense, but it not really work in all cases because owner can pollute proprty of other people and things like that. I am very curios what do you think about that? And about our last request to goverment, we still didnt recieve an answer(it usually takes few months). Altrough there is some cleaning events in our lake happining right now. But basicly it is just beach cleaning. Also, the property of goverment in our country are much more polluted that private factories, so at some point it have sense because owners are usually protect their property and goverment workers dont really care about goverment land. Best wishes

It's wrong to pollute anything , anywhere irrespective of its owner-whether its own or govt property. Overall we have to live in the same society , same world .

It is said, everybody's property is nobody's property. the people polluting the government property only may be true for some and not for everyone.

I think, It is true to some extent that people pollute only the government property and not their own.
