The wood exploitation it's a really serious problem im my country because we have a lot of wood resources, and like we are one of the most biodiversity country in the world we also have a lot of species of trees in our lands, the problem is that because of that a lot of companys from our country and from other countrys want to exploit our forest looking for the wood resourses.

In our country we have many types of trees, native and introduce trees and we have a lot of virgins forest, our country for protect this forest, make them national parks and ecological reserves, but  there are many forest that aren? considered like a national parks or ecological reserves, etc. And the industries exploit with no responsability with the nature.

There are a lot of reasons of why our country exploit the wood resources, for exploit the petroleum, to obtein derivatives of the wood, for obtein wood resources and because of the cattle, but there are province where our country are explotation in a several way because of the plantation of the african palm like in the province of Esmeraldas, and also for obtain wood resources, the problem is that it´s a zone of the coast of Ecuador and there are not to much precipitation and if they still felled indiscriminately the trees its going to affect to the frequency of rain in the zone altering the ecosystem, also in the Amazon the industries explotes this zones because of the petroleum and the wood resources, because of this the Ministry of Environment create a project called Socio Bosque that it´s a Project that pay to the owners of parts of the forest to maintain the trees and don´t cut down it.

In my city Loja we can also see how affect the cut down of the trees to the environment, like near my hause there is a zone that because the owners wants to build hauses to sell it, there was a landslide, because when they cut down the trees, the land start to slide because the trees helps to retain the land.
