On the last week of August, an event namely "Eco Day" was held in Hanoi. The event drew the attention of over 1000 youngsters. This year, the event was organized by Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnamese Youth Council and World Bank.
The event's main purpose was introduce youth to a new concept: " Green Economy". A lot of green and sustainable products were exhibited and sold. Besides, there were also a wide range of activities such as game show on environment, seminars on green economy, workshops on making hand-made products and how to go vegetarians, etc...
The event was truly a hit which boosts Vietnamese youth's awareness on the importance of protecting the environment, especially green economy field
