PVC pipes can be very useful when it comes to planting corals and improving the marine ecosystem. Corals are like houses to fish and other marine life, so when they are destroyed, these fish and organisms have to find a new place to stay. But what if the all the nearby areas are damaged too? That's where the "Coral Planting project" comes in.
Coral planting helps build a new home for marine life and restore the sea back to how it once was. PVC pipes play a major role in rebuilding the coral reefs. Think of it as a structure that you have to have before building a house. Reseachers have found that PVC pipe is the best choice for coral plantation, not only becuase the structure is simple and can support coral growth but also because pvc pipes have proven to be a stable material which can coexist with marine creatures. So we can say that they won't cause any harm toward the marine ecosystem. The steps to coral planting is easy. The picture below show the steps. Coral plantation is an activity that anyone can participate. Just sign up as a volunteer and you're good to go. Truely an easy alternative to year long natural coral reefs. And the fact that we can volunteer to make such things is also an interesting one.

Corals need years to grow. I find this program very beneficial as it provides the corals a stable ground to settle. Hope to see how beautiful they will turn out to be! Thanks for posting Chayanun.

Wow! Coral Plantations sound quite unique. Corals also have a vital role to play when it comes to purification of the marine environment for the breathing plants and other aquatic organisms. Thanks for the wonderful report, Chayanun:)
