With its ongoing recycling revolution, less than one percent of Sweden s household waste ends up in a rubbish dump. The rest is recycled in different ways. For a more detailed insight on how this is made possible please follow the link- https://sweden.se/nature/the-swedish-recycling-revolution/ However just recently I read that Sweden runs out of garbage and is forced to import from neighbours. Norway and Britain are those helping in this process. What does this mean is really of interest, Recycling-happy Sweden, where almost a million homes are heated by waste incineration, is facing a unique dilemma: It needs more fuel. http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/recycling/blogs/sweden-runs-out-of-garbage-forced-to-import-from-norway |

I watched a documentary about the Swedish trash importing business. They import trash from other nearby European countries and make a profit by making energy with it. Their power plants are also equipped with cutting edge technology, leaving comparatively less pollution than that of other countries. Thanks for sharing
