Since I represent Vietnam, I will only list events in my country that should be given more attention in 2017.
I, 'Action for a green Ha Long' programme:
In continuation to the success of the first programme, IUCN in partnership with Bhaya Group and Coca-Cola Viet Nam are going to organize the Second 'Action for A Green Ha Long' Campaign on January 10th, 2017. This programme is a part of the Ha Long – Cat Ba Alliance Initiative, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

II, 'Experience Nature' project:
In the series of activities of 'promoting and enhancing the participation of youths, teenagers and children in the conservation of biodiversity and wildlife', Action for Wildlife Organization [AWO] is going to hold a project called 'Nature Experience' in Ho Chi Minh city in January, 2017.
The project is to provide the participants with knowledge of biodiversity and wild animals, such as turtles, amphibians, reptiles and primates, as well as to share and share alike about the work of biodiversity conservation and environment protection. In the process of learning about the changes in vegetation cover towards altitude, our participants had conquered the top of a mountain, which is our farthest destination so far.

III, Taking care of Pangolins:
More than 120 pangolins have just been rescued by Save Vietnam's Wildlife Organization and currently stay at Cuc Phuong National Park. Since this kind of animal requires the specific treatment individually, there is a call for a number of volunteers.

IV, Carbon & Biodiversity Project (Carbi):
WWF and partners have embarked on the largest and most ambitious project in the history of our involvement in the Greater Mekong region. Aimed at halting deforestation, through forest protection and sustainable use of forest resources, and preserving the unique species diversity, the new project covers an area of more than 200,000 ha of forest, along a vital mountain range that links Laos and Vietnam in Southeast Asia.

Well, you don't have to be limited to representing Vietnam only, you are free to choose whatever you like! But I liked how you went deeper in this report by narrowing it down to your country. I hope the listed events will turn out to have successful endings. Happy new year!

Dear Anh,
Sorry for all the difficulties you are facing (have faced) in 2016, it really has been a very busy year for many of us. Cheer yourself up, be happy. Keep on trying and striving for the best. Studies can be hard, especially when teachers dont have time understanding that you have personal life problems too. At least, even if late, you are turning the reports in.
I am sure that 2017 will bring much luck and success. I hope more attention WILL be payed to all the projects youve shared.
