Emil Salim is one of the environmental leaders who came from Indonesia. He is an economist, scholar, teacher and politician Indonesia. In 1996, Elim Salim became one of the founders of World Wide Fund (WWF) Indonesia. In 2006, he was awarded the Blue Planet Prize by The Asahi Glass Foundation for his contribution in developing the concept of sustainable development and futhering global environmental policies through the United Nations' committees. In 2012, he received The Leader for the Living Planet Award from the WWF for his efforts in fight for the principle of sustainable development into national policies. The Leader for the Living Planet Award itself itself is an award from the WWF for individuals who contribute to nature conservation and sustainable development. Sources: id.wikipedia.org
