Leaving behind a bit of Mocoa, I refer now to a more cheerful news that is also recent. Hi Daniel,
I'm glad your country did consider dropping mining.
In the past one month, there has been calls by almost every body in Ghana that matters for the government to ban small scale mining. This is the case because all our water bodies and forests are gradually being destroyed.

Daniel, thank you for your report. It seems like various nations are trying to drop mining. I think if you hold strong interest in this topic you could write more about mining. What kind of environmental issue it has, for example, could be a good topic.
