Dear comrades of the world, it is a pleasure for me to write this article, since in recent days the president of the republic of Colombia was finishing and signing by sanction precidencial the delimitation of an ecosystem of paramo (one of many paramos that exist in colombia) Called Páramo Guantiva-La Russia with this it is made clear that the actions of preservation of the country go seriously, entering in harmony with the democratic actions that the Colombian publo has done to reject any act of extraction of resources like the coal, niquel petroleum In strategic ecosystems for human life and the ecological development of the country. Attached to this will be given for the first time an international event in Colombia to discuss the delimitation of the paramos and sign a law to conserve these ecostemas a law that will be the final declaration of Colombia to establish a real sustainable development in the Areas of the paramos provoked so that there is the facility of the payments for environmental service that is a program in which a family is paid to preserve strategic points of an ecosystem, that supplies and of pure air and water to the matoria of the Center of the country and agrosa the largest waterways in the country, this congress of paramos will gather experts from all over the world, including UN environment staff, as a youth group is our duty to be present and contribute to the document that will be the legal and administrative barrier For which future generations may enjoy seeing a unique ecosystem in their class in the country, to finish I invite you to observe The galleries of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia is the healthiest way to visit the Paramos without affecting them since wherever one looks at encutra some species that fulfills a special function. Daniel, thank you for your report. Paramos in Colombia are its treasure and must be protected. It is good to hear that the president has made such a great decision. If Colombia does great job on protecting paramos, it would be a good example to other countries. Please share with us further news about paramos.

Kudos to the efforts, initiatives and eco-conscious attitude of Columbian government and citizens. Such laws to conserve ecosystems are welcomed moves and great examples of sustainable development. Thanks for sharing.
