Admire the beauty of the Emerald Sea

by | 11-08-2017 06:13 recommendations 0

The Emerald Sea lies in the north of Madagascar on the coast of Diego-Suarez. It is a lagoon located at the entrance of the bay of Diego-Suarez.

To reach it, it is necessary to cross the great pass where the depth is of 400m. The admiration of the beauty of this vast lagoon requires a memorable adventure. First, we have to embark on fishing boats or boats in Ramena. These boats are sailing and also equipped with engine.

The adventure begins in the boat. Up to a certain distance from the great pass, the boat advances under the action of the engine. It is from there that the sail is used. The wind blowing with the dance of the waves give more taste to the adventure of the quest of the Emerald Sea, when crossing the great pass.

As a result, the Emerald Sea welcomes us with peace and quiet. It reflects its joy by its turquoise color as Emerald due to its shallow depth of water with sandy bottoms. It is protected because it is separated from the Indian Ocean by a barrier of coral and a string of islets. This natural color gives us the impression of being connected with nature.

Adventure to the Emerald Sea can continue with a scuba diving, snorkeling in the middle of the lagoon. It still harbors natural marine ecosystems such as fish, corals, and sponges. Fine sand of the splendid beach welcome us at one of the islets: Nosy Antaly Be, Nosy Suarez, and Nosy Diego.

Madagascar still has natural sites that are part of eco-tourism. Thus, to be able to admire this beauty of nature, we must protect nature and educate the population on the value of the natural ecosystem.

Those pictures show this beauty of Emerald Sea.

Razanamanana, thank you for your report. The Emerald Sea is absolutely beautiful. I am sure no one will doubt it. It makes me relieved whenever I see photos of well preserved nature. So wasn't there any environmental issues with the Emerald Sea? If not, how come?

Razanamanana, thanks for sharing the beauty of your country with us. You are fortunate to be living in one of the naturally beautiful spots on the planet. Indeed it is required to educate the people about the value of natural ecosystems to preserve and conserve such places while at the same time boost eco tourism and connect to nature.
