REVITALIZING THE YOUTH |

Our national hero in the Philippines said that the youth is the hope of the nation.
I believe in the power of this generation to push forward and achieve greatness. That is why, on Sep. 26, 2017, together with the Mindanao Youth Development Center, DENR and Department of Education, we held a youth forum for 20 high schools in Davao City to revitalize the YES-O Clubs or the environmental clubs in their schools. We invited speakers from different agencies including a Climate Reality Project Leader to inspire and guide our participants. At the end of the day, they had an action planning so they can start creating impacts in their respective schools. All in all, it was a very fruitful day and we are very thankful for the help and support of our local government units. Mabuhay!

Hi, Angel! Thank you for your report on your recent youth forum. I want to applaud you for doing your part in spreading your love for the environment! I'm glad to hear that the students have even taken part in action planning. I hope that programs like this one can continue to make more environment-loving youths. Nice work! :)
