As an Environmental and Sanitary Engineering Graduate, I acknowledge the applications of what are being taught to us in the university. Part of the academic subjects is the current situation of the environment. The environment as a complex and aesthetically valued matter plays a vital role in the development of the community, affects the health of the public, and determines the cleanliness and integrity of water resources. With the activities of human being it can be destroyed but also with the action of humans it may be restored, healed, and improve.

One of my purpose why I came up with this kind activities like Tree Planting, Water Clean-up Drive, Trellised Green House, Clean and Green Tourism, etc. and that is why I cooperated in the activities is to awaken the sense of understanding and environmental responsibility among others. I believe that every one of us has the duty to protect and conserve our natural resources for the present and future generations. We, as the living protector of what God has created, we have the duty to spread information, raise awareness, and be a living example to others. By that, we will be able to achieve a common goal and objectives. The right of every creature to a safe and sustainable environment becomes possible, and most importantly sustainable development will no longer be difficult to attain. In addition, comprehensive actions of the government, organizations, and stakeholders are also necessary to address the problems effectively in harmony with the environment. 

The increasing environmental problems had made me to devote my time to that kind of movement. I also emphasized that the destruction of the environment will result to a substandard quality of living. I also added that our actions will impart equal and opposite reactions to our environment. We should always take into account the integrity of our environment when we start development. 

I was inspired by a quote written by Maya Angelou saying, ?I?ve always learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.? The effort you put into something will always be valued but the smile and comfort brought by your effort will always remain in the heart of many.
