It is tha pathogen that causes late blight in tomato and potato.It was responsible for Irish famine in 1840s in Ireland.It was also isolated in our pathology lab.

Hi Dibya! I remember learning about this strain of fungus in my microbiology classes! It's cool to know that you're also learning about this fungus, and have even had the chance to isolate the strain and examine it yourself! Great job :D
