CARRYGO CLEANUP PROJECT-,MONTHLY EVENTS REPORT |

Hello Friends,
Coincidentally, the date for my monthly event and that of earth hour was #March24, so I really engaged that saturday with Nature. I organized a clean up programme tagged CARRYGO, in Nigeria this means "Go ahead and Take action". So I did this clean up in a community, in Abuja. Usually residents of that community dump their wastes in moving waters just outside their houses when it rains, eventually the wastes flows into canals and blocks it causing heavy floods. So we cleaned and also, scrambled for plastics especially to reuse for a recycling project coming up later this year.... |

Honestly, it is indeed tasking but looking at the aftermath, it's worth it. We'll do all our best to make sure people are enlightened about their saving their environment....with time.

Participating in the real world for our ecofriendly society is not easy task to start with.
Though we do know and acknowledge what problems do exist and what kind of resolutions are in need, we hesitate to take our footsteps inside them.
I definitely support your new project, and hope other people get to know your project as well!

Thanks, there are a lot of things we can recycle plastics into for kids to use and sell, they are also for art pieces in schools. I'll definitely share them soon

Thanks, Indeed the act of dumping trash in moving bodies of water is a common practice in most rural communities which should be frown upon. We'll consistently do this project as our own quota in saving the environment, because the gov't cannot do all for us. I'll definitely keep you posted on the recycle project with these plastics

It is very cool of you to voluntarily carry on a project 'CARRYGO' to contribute in saving the environment. We really shouldn't be dumping trashes in rivers.
If your new project in recycling those plastic bottles collected in this project, please let us know~
