Climate Talks: Negotiations to Talanoa |

Saturday, 19th May 2018 Bharatpur, Chitwan CliMates Nepal and IAAS Nepal jointly organized intense and informative Climate Talks, inclusive of science and politics of Climate change. Participants were made aware about the importance of civil societies in influencing negotiations, and mainly how youths are making change in home country and international negotiations through constituencies like YOUNGO. Moreover, the flashback to Youth Ag Summit, COY 13, COP 23, ACE Youth Forum and SB 48 added spice to the program with description of outcome and future plans. Upcoming opportunities were discussed and past successful stories were shared. Most importantly, at the end of program, Talanoa Dialogue session was held with sharing of rich and inspiring stories. The groups shared their outcome which was more than commendable. Participants are Keen to prepare report of their Talanoa Dialogue which would be communicated to UNFCCC through YOUNGO. Hello Bharat, another opportunity to share thoughts about climate change!
Public discussion or debate can lead individuals participate into more dense and compact talk among people directly, and it can encourage others to participate more and more, too.
Hope your successive campaigns can make others more concentrating on climate change and its relative issues!

Hello Bharat!
Talanoa Dialogue session seems to have been one of the most meaningful times. By telling and hearing stories about different people in different projects inspires of new views and methods to the problem that we are actually facing. I believe this is the main point of how sharing can advance us all!
