Solar Mamas

by Arushi Madan | 07-09-2013 16:13 recommendations 0

I liked the below video . It shows how solar energy + technical training =Solar Power brings in light amidst darkness and empowers village women to become solar engineers. This is also a  great way to reduce poverty.

Solar power creates opportunities for women in villages across four continents to become engineers.

Sia ,Thanks for your feedback .Its not only happening in Tanzania , it's happening in Jordan & few other countries as well. Jordanian villager women have travelled to college in India to learn solar technology and bring lights to their homes. This college in India has women from Kenya, Burkina Faso, Columbia, and Guatemala as well. Also , I guess there is no harm in sharing something generally interesting and innovative as knowledge share . Do we agree , Sia.
