Last August 4, 2013 PSSE-UCSC together with some IECEP members had participated in the tree planting activity held at the Adopted Plot of Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers, Northern Luzon (PSSE-NL) Chapter near the Baguio Athletic Bowl, Baguio City. Though the weather is not good due to heavy rain still we planted 70 pine tree seedlings successfully. We will monitor the growth of the planted seedlings to enhance their survival because we know that the survival rate of pine trees is low if not properly maintained. As part of the organization?s aim to help fight global warming and answer to the Executive Order No. 26 or the National Greening Program of the government, we will not stop planting and we will make sure that for the coming tree planting activities we will organize a wide activity as such with the support coming from the PSSE-NL Chapter.
