Sound pollution is a destructive effect of environmental pollution to the community |

According to my investigation i found that near by Tanga Cement Company ltd there are alot of communities living near the sorroundings especially is sorrounded with three schools where by these students are really affected by destructive of sound pollution during the day and night in which they can not be well attentive during their studies..Community and the government needs to be educated on the effect of building industries near the society for safey environment.

I've been around construction site for 1 year so I truly understand. Shouldn't it be strictly limited by law?

The industries should be built far away from the residents...
Proper planning is necessary.

There should be proper urban /industrial planning which should keep away residential areas from industrial. Noise pollution is not only detrimental to peace but also to health.

Yes we have some policies in our country but their not very strong to take action for those who break the policies.This is a big problem that we are facing our government have no strong action against them@Anh Dang

We also have the same problem in Vietnam. Normally, the schools and even hospital are placed very near to the roads which are always busy with many vehicles (as we do not have another spaces for this building)...
Do you have any policies or regulations to prevent sound pollution in your country?
