The longest lunar eclipse in this century. |

The full "Bloody moon" eclipse is a phenomenon that is repeated only at intervals, wishing to meditate and look at the sky with passion. Where it lasted for 103 minutes. The reason that this eclipse was this time-length is similar to the cause of its occurrence in the first place, namely the perfect compatibility in the way the moon aligns with the sun and the earth. The eclipse was long because the moon passed directly through the center of the earth's shadow, so it took longer to pass through the dark, and therefore the eclipse lasted longer. In addition, the Earth, in this case, is almost far from the Sun during its orbit, and this makes the journey longer also since the angle and distance make the shadow larger. The moon was in a low lunar mansion in the sky throughout the eclipse, and using a simple telescope made the vision of this unique event even more impressive, even with the naked eye. Unfortunately, the sky was not pure in my area, so I could not see it with my eyes. I hope you guys watched it. Source and Pictures: I took it from a friend of mine ^_^ |
