My major is environmental science. In the course of studying my program, environmental science, I read a lot of courses. One of the courses that I found most interesting was 'science and the formulation of environmental policy'.
I will like to use my knowledge gained from studying this course to help formulate feasible environmental policies and ensure that they are adhered to. This is very important to me because, I realize there are a lot of environmental policies in Ghana but most of them are not feasible whereas the few that are feasible are not been enforced. Formulating feasible environmental policies and enforcing them has become a necessity due to the fact that, there is the issue of improper waste management, air pollution, water pollution and loss of ecosystem which are now major problems in my country, Ghana. I will like to see my country become an eco-friendly country and so I will use my experience and knowledge gained in environmental science and to help contribute to this course.
