Half a degree can make a world of difference.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) following its weeklong meeting in Incheon, South Korea released a report on October 8 on the adoption of the Paris Agreement, the Conference of Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) at its 21st Session in Paris, France (30 November to 11 December 2015) to provide a special report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5 ?C above pre-industrial levels and related global greenhouse gas emission pathways.

In 2015, Paris Agreement 195 nations signed onto the agreement to curb greenhouse gas emissions sufficiently to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees by 2100.

The IPCC report examines various possible paths that scientists have examined to limit the environmental impacts of warming. Among the variables considered in these paths are when emissions are projected to reach net zero, when the amount of carbon released to the atmosphere is balanced by the amount that is being removed. Another variable is how many more emissions will be allowable in the meantime — a concept known as the carbon budget.

    Hi Kushal!

The carbon budget is a good step in controlling the carbon dioxide gas . I hope that in mitigating the problem, thet they issue out the planting of tree areound the world, bevause that is the maiin way that we can cancell out carbon emissions in the atmosphere! I hope that the IPCC continues in their work, in dircet accordance with the Paris agreement.

    Great report Kushal!

    Hello Kushal
Thanks for updating us with current international movements regarding climate change issues.
Also, it is nice to know that science and technology are doing its job to mitigate the issue and finding some balancing point for the meanwhile!
    Thanks for the report :)

Happy to hear of international move against global warming. Reaching below 2 degree before 21000 is possible.

Thanks for informing us about IPCC, and the meeting held in South Korea.

    Thanks for the report Kushal.
