Policies I would like to establish:

by Bharat Adhikari | 20-10-2018 19:20 recommendations 0

Background:

Today, Nepal like other countries of the world is having its own share of wildlife conservation problem. This has increased in recent times with several poaching of animals. The desertification famine and loss of biodiversity, environmental degradation terrorism, industrial nuclear accidents, land, water and air pollution, ozone depletion are seen everywhere. Several efforts have been made for biodiversity conservation.

To overcome some of these problems, I would like to establish some policies to improve environment and ecosystem in my country Nepal. They are listed below:

-Natural Resources should be sustainably utilized.

-Hazardous waste should be properly disposed and dumping sites shall be built far from residential areas.

-Nobody shall build big infrastructures or roads without conduction of Initial Environmental Examination or Environmental Impact Assessment

-In case people does not follow these policies, they shall be punished and they shall be fined up to NPR 50000.

Hello Bharat, how are your projects and campaigns are going?! :)
Concerning natural resources that are priceless, we simply need to 'try' conserving the total amount of resources as it may face the end of its amount in the end 'directly'.
Environmental Assessment and risk taking management should be implemented by governmental or local government's projects.
Hope your concerns become solved as policies get established!

    Hello Bharat
The use of natural resources and the disposal of waste is a critical factor in the life cycle of resources. So it is important for these steps to be cautiously monitored and managed so that things could be operated in an optimal way which will lead us to a sustainable society!
    Thanks for the report :)

Good report Adhikari but I guess Nepal is a developing nation charging a penalty of 50000NPR is too much.
However it's progressive to conduct environmental examination as proposed by you.
    Overall a good report :)

    Hey there Bharat!

The rate at which are environment is being stressful is alarming, with all these issues occurring, I agree that the policies you have placed are relevant to the problem. It would really be awesome to see them implemented one day. Or sooner!

Thank you so much for reporting!
