According to Ms. sarah friedl Ozone Is Beneficial You probably don't realize that every time you step outside, ozone, a gaseous molecule of three oxygens, makes it possible for you to do so without reaping the harmful effects of the sun's radiation. This helpful ozone is found in the stratosphere, which is the atmospheric layer just above where life exists and weather occurs Ozone depletion is a major environmental problem because it increases the amount of ultraviolet (UV) radiation that reaches Earth's surface, which increases the rate of skin cancer, eye cataracts, and genetic and immune system damage. The following are the Effects to the humans.: (i)Skin deterioration:This effect is not life-threatening since it only affects the outermost layer of the skin, hence affecting appearance. It is the most harmless effect of excess solar radiation as a result of ozone layer depletion. (ii)Skin cancer. There exist two main forms of skin cancer, namely: melanoma and non-melanoma.Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer. It's often fatal.Non-melanoma is the most common form of skin cancer which damages the skin's DNA. It has low fatality rate. (iii)Sun-evoked rash. (iv)Immune inhibition. (v)Cataracts. https://www.kenyaplex.com/resources/13492-ozone-layer-depletion-its-causes-effects-and-control-measures.aspx https://www.britannica.com/science/ozone-depletion https://study.com/academy/lesson/the-ozone-layer-importance-and-the-harmful-effects-of-thinning.html |

Hey there Carlos!
You are right, the effect of a depleted ozone if catastrophic and many should be made aware of this fact. The Ozone layer does an all-round tremendous job and we ought to regulate it.
Thank you for reporting Carlos!

Hello Carlos
The ozone layer is a pivotal condition for living beings to survive, and this is very much the same for us, human. The Montreal Protocol has done its job significantly but still, attention for this problem should be continued and improved so that no more depletion would happen.
Thanks for the report :)
