For Biggest festival of Nepal, Dashain me and my realtives went to my birthplace, after completing our visit we visited a famous Temple of Nepal i.e Baglung Kalika. Baglung Kalika is one of the most visited and worshipped temple in Nepal. Kalika is a goddess of Hindu people. People believe wish come true after worshipping in this Temple. I visited this temple 8 years ago, what I find after 8 year made me Happy. Periphery was completely changed, temple was clean and placement of different dustbin can be observed. Different hoding boards were there to stop pollution around temple. Pieces of plastic were inside dustbin and a boy was collecting rappers on the way to temple. All this moment make me happy, local people and temple management are aware of plastic waste and they are managing as much they can. I happy in a sense that nowdays at least people are aware not to throw wastage in around temple, before 8 years I saw many wrappers of foods and worship material around temple, thing is different after 8 years. I am hopeful one day all citizen of Nepal will be aware about waste management. I am hopeful one day all citizen will throw garbage in dustbin not in roads and jungles. I am hopeful one day all citizen of Nepal will make my country clean healthy and beautiful. |

Hello Deepak!
It is really nice to hear that positive changes are happening around us.
The 8 years must have brought enlightenment around people about waste problems!
Thanks for introducing Baglung Kalika Temple :)

Hi Deepak!
It is refreshing that a place of worship is also sensitive to what has been happening around it. The placements of dustbins and other items just shows that over time, change with start to take effect.
Thank you for reporting! :D
