Policy suggestion

Policy suggestion.

As www.webmd.com says Being around tobacco smoke is bad for you, even if it's someone else's smoke.

When someone smokes a cigarette, most of the smoke doesn't go into their lungs . It goes into the air, where anyone nearby can breathe it.

Smoking  is banned in many public places. But many people are still exposed to secondhand smoke , especially children who live with parents who smoke. Even people who try to be careful about where they light up may not protect those around them.

H

Tobacco smoke has more than 4,000 chemical compounds, at least 250 are known to cause disease.

Suppose that you live with someone who smoke atleast 3 days in a week  near by you,  www.webmd.com says that you have an increased chance by 30 percent to have lung cancer.

Hk

This Smoke will  make your blood  stickier, raises your bad LDL cholesterol , and damages the lining of your blood  vessels. Eventually, these changes can make you more likely to have a heart attack or stroke.

Y

There are plenty of disoders in our body functions that occur by on only working with a friend while he or she is smoking.

Some policies emphasize only on not smoking in public. But as we have came to see from above explanations it is not even good at all smoking in a place where a single person can pass by.

Yes, it is so bad to smoke at a public places because you are killing many people at once, but it is not good also to smoke in these places like home (because the people who live with you being infected slowly). Oh you are saying that you live alone and may be you can smoke you won't kill anyone. No  came on stop being naive,  smoke if  you are sure that no one will ever came to your house to go away with lungs cancer.

The policy I would like to suggest is increasing the taxes on Tabacco so that some money will go to help in hospitals by saving those who got cancer from smokers.

I take this time, to thank you all for your considafrable comments.

Since taxation has been increased for many nations including my country Rwanda, yet the smokers don't drop in relation to the tabbaco price hikes, at least directing these taxes to medical treatments can help those non-smokers victims. @Gyeongrin mentor@Joon Ho Mentor

Education also is the very best key to create the future generation we need in any sector. So I agree with you that education can also help in reducing smorkers in youth mainly.@Hassan Nasir

@Jon second with you brother it has been observed the more you impose tax on tobacco people are highly unresponsive to price hikes.Addiction of tobacco is intense but what needs to be done is proper mentoring of the youth through pyschologist where they must be given directions that youth must be educated on how to overcome pressures and anxieties.

Passive smoking is no doubt extremely harmonious for health. It hurts a lot that you without any reason gets in troubled and this happens where people have no awareness about the concept of egalitarian society.

Hello Yves, my country imposed huge tax on tobacco a couple of years ago and the cost for a single tobacco pack with 10 tobaccos doubled. However the number of smokers did not drop off drastically comparing to the drastic increase of tobacco pack cost. Secondhand smoking issue has been illuminated and caught attention for a long time but public smoking has kept this issue as just it was till now :(
Restricting and banning smoking might be the best way for the health of smokers and non-smokers, and other relative reasons, but changing tax policy concerning smoking activities and regions sounds most possible and feasible for now!
Hope such solutions can be drawn at the end :)

    Hello Yves
Smoking is a sensitive issue as this not only harms the health of the one who is smoking but also harms those of many others nearby. Taxation is one way that is often used in many nations to reduce the consumption of tobacco. The redirection of these taxes gathered from the consumption of tobaccos to medical treatment area is really a good idea and with some more consideration about various factors of the society concerning the price could possibly decide the increase rate!
    Thanks for sharing :)
