I’ve been watching this movie several times trying to deploy my sixth sense and see what we should learn from it. This movie was first shot on 26 June 2012 in Namibia, and Potts Hill as well as Penrith Lakes in Western Sydney later. In February 2013, a leaked draft from the Namibian Coast Conservation and Management group accused the producers of damaging parts of the Namib Desert, endangering a number of plant and animal species thou approved wrong later after visiting the site.

Within the movie, an energy crisis made the world a desert wasteland and civilization collapsed. Max, a survivor, was captured by the War Boys, the army of the dictator Immortan Joe, and taken to Joe's Citadel, which has ample water and greenery that Joe keeps for himself. Furiosa the actress with Max and five wives of Joe took all the road trying to escape to find the Green Place, where she used to live in her childhood days. They drive overnight through swampland and desert, later devastated to learn that the swampland they passed was indeed the Green Place, now uninhabitable.

This movie gives us a clear image of the worst world that could ever exist. Where the world become a desert, and where life was possible is not any more. Furiosa and her colleagues were escaping to find a better place but never find, forcing them to turn back even if they knew they were putting their life on frontline. The main lesson is behind this tragedy of the energy crisis affecting both civilization and the environment. There is a strong influence between the threes.

When People can’t manage to live a balanced life in environmental and civilizational dimensions, they lose their conscience of humanity. Water means life in desert we all know that. You can imagine how fall the individual who over-control the whole water system within desert can go violating human rights to protect what he possesses. This was the character of Immortan Joe. The movie is survival and retention of humanity in the face of apocalyptic world as it was illustrated by Max beginning the film a feral wanderer, then rediscovering his former dignity by partnering with Furiosa.

This movie was ranked the best film of 2015, and is considered one of the greatest action movies of all time in the 21st century. This movie received ten Academy Award nominations. Apart from environmental aspect, this movie has also been given accolades by several scholars. The gender character played by Furiosa as principal actress with Max and the five wives of Immortan Joe had been recognized for women empowerment. This firm also had been recognized for its positivity toward people with disabilities both physical and psychological through the costume of Furiosa with her mechanical hand and Max’s character.
