I have previously written a report on what will be my future events and I am glad to see that mentors have selected the same topic for the monthly event for the first month of the year 2019.

We need to clear on what are our future plans and how we are going to make them successful. Previously I had mentioned my environmental and agricultural programs I am going to conduct. So, in this report I will be focusing on my previously done activities in climate change sector and what will be my future activities.

My Previous Activities and Programs

1. Successfully completed online course on “Introductory E-Course on Climate Change” and “Human Health and Climate Change” by United Nation Institute for Training and Research

2. Participated in ”Lamjung Climate Convergence” organized by Digo Bikash Institute and NYCA- Lamjung

3. Organized Climate Awareness Campaign “The Science of Climate Change” and “Motivational and Stationary Distribution Program” to empower children for better future at various schools

4.  Participated in Lamjung Model United Nation 2017 as delegate of Jordan in WFP Committee where the agenda of discussion was Climate Change

5. Organized “Sustainable Development Campaign” where awareness presentation was made on Climate Change

My future Plans on Climate Change

1. I will be conducting a school campaign in about 10 schools of Lamjung where I will be explaining about the causes, impacts and effects of climate change.

2. I will continue to coordinate the online agricultural campaign, “Let’s Hear Our Farmers” where I will be collecting the stories of farmers from different parts of the country along with the effects they are facing due to the effects of climate change.

3. I will be running an online campaign about the great impacts of small acts where I will sharing how we adapt to the effects of climate change locally.

4. I will be sharing the articles about climate change in the environment section of my blog kushalnaharki.wordpress.com

Although, Nepal emits very less amount of the green house effects, Nepal is fourth vulnerable country interms of the effect of climate change and more than half of the population are still unaware what climate change really is. So, there is huge need of the campaigns related to climate change. I will be conducting many more programs and campaigns along with the situation and favorable time which I will be informing all of you in the coming reports.

We must Act Now, Act Together and Act Locally to bring the change.

Climate Is Changing. Are we ready for it? Lets all work from our level so that we can adapt to the climate change and reduce its impact along with working for its mitigation.
