Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my 10th report related to LIFE HACKS TO SAVE THE PLANET. Last Monday (14/01/2019), my classmates and I met again to continue our eco-marathon. This time we discussed life hacks, which would help us keep the planet clean. It was related to offline school education. The guys came up with different life hacks about how to save the planet, and then we exchanged information. Our event again took place at our Yongchun Senior High School (Taipei, Taiwan). We all think that the level of pollution in megapolices is rapidly increasing, so that many people find it impossible to breathe such air and settle in in suburbs. Pollution in big cities is a result of enormous number of cars and trolleys which pollute the air as well as big factories and plants. What¡¯s more, numerous cars cause rush hours so that people can spend an hour not having moved at all. People see the solution to both huge problems in one rather small and available thing - in a bicycle. It has a lot of advantages which outweigh the disadvantages some people see in it. I personally see no disadvantages in using a healthy way of transport. First of all, a bicycle does no harm to environment. If every second citizen used a bicycle, the air would be much cleaner. Secondly, the reduction of the number of cars, without any doubt, will improve the traffic situation of the city: people won¡¯t have to spend hours in traffic jams. The third and the most important advantage is that bicycle is useful for our health. Sitting on one place can cause serious illnesses while a bicyclist doesn¡¯t bother anything. Thank you for your attention. Our marathon will be continued¡¦¡¦ |

Hello Elizaveta
Our daily lives consist of little habits and if we could only pay a little bit more attention to these matters, we would be able to reduce waste and improve environmental conditions.
As societies are sets of individuals, our consciousness of environmental issues in our daily lives is truly important!
Glad to see your marathon being continued!
Thanks for the report!
