Empowering Children For Better Future

by Kushal Naharki | 05-02-2019 11:42 recommendations 0

Children are the pillars of our future. We must go in hand with hand together with children and youth to create a sustainable future. I have always tried to empower and motivate children and provide a platform for them. I have already conducted Eco Voice during my Sustainable Environment Campaign which a provided them to write what are their thoughts and whats and what they would like to do as environmentalist. I have also conducted Awareness Presentation to aware the children

I have also receiving various entries of creativity of the school children during my environment awareness campaign "Small Act Great Impact".
Rajani Wagle, a student of Grade 10 from Motherland School Pokhara has sent a poem on "A Girl Connected With The Environment"

I still remember, the day i saw her face
I still feel glad, when I have a glimpse on her work
I still feel ashamed of myself thinking why didn't I do that..

Millions of trees cut down
By thousands of people
But
Only few steps stepped ahead
Protecting the trees
Planting the sapling
And
Awaring the people.

The people who love to brag
Contributed to plant a tree
And killed thousands of them
But without expecting anything
She was loving the nature..

She was neither a rich nor healthy one
But
Was a lanky girl wrapped up in the
Dirty and messy dress
Not thinking about the world
Not caring about anyone
She was cleaning the surrounding
Respecting the creator
And loving the creatures..

If a tiny girl who is not even able to fulfil her hunger is contributing for the
Protection,
Preservation
And
Promotion of the environmental factors
Then why can't we do that??

The era is of development
Not of destruction,
The epoch is of spreading the love
Not the violence.

The hands are for creation not for deterioration of our own nature.
Let's bring the heaven in our own place and make the life of everyone be possible

By environmental protection and conservation.

Dipika Sigdel A student of class 5 from Bridge international school from Kohalpur, Banke has sent a poem on "Beauty of My Nature"

Very beautiful paradise in which we live

Environment protection is our need

Surrounded by various goods
Measures we tried but never understood

Environment is provided by nature
Cleanliness should be encouraged by every creature

To care it is our obligation
Efforts to be made for its protection

My world should be neat and clean
So everyone can see its beaury in our screen

I love the place where i survive
What a grace it carries

I shall forward my legs for small act
That can make the huge impact
We shall have great impact

Hello Kushal, I liked the part in the poem : 'If a tiny girl who is not even able to fulfil her hunger is contributing for the
    Protection,
    Preservation
    And
    Promotion of the environmental factors
Then why can't we do that??'

Poverty is not a crime neither it is duty or work given to someone as destiny.
But it sadly still do exists.
Apart from this fact, making our surrounding and environment a bit better off can be done by anyone regardless of one's economic power and level, which means that the ones who are polluting the world are truly 'responsible' and 'guilty' of such activities.
Likewise, doing one's best to be responsible for environment conservation is just common action that we can start right away.
I also do think poverty issues are in close relationship with bad sanitation and environmental pollution too, since basic infrastructures and care taking service are poor against the poor, and is is 'discrimination'.
Hope world can change and proceed onto better future :)
Thanks for your report with beautiful workouts from students

These are beautiful work of arts that shows the warm heart of its creator!
Indeed children are the pillar of our future and what they experience as youths take a huge part in how their minds construct on the path of aging and it you seem to be doing an incredible work to inspire these children to see the problem of our beloved Earth and to learn how to love and protect the nature.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful poem with us, Kushal :)
