The campaign or project for this year to prevent climate change - Recycling

by Rohan Kapur | 11-02-2019 03:23 recommendations 0

In the year 2019, the best project to mitigate climate change shall be recycling. Its¡¯s simple word but with infinite possibilities. I love to recycle. The beauty of this project is that you, your family, friends, neighbors, even the whole community can participate. It is the concept that matters. Even a small contribution may bring a change.

Recycling has triggering factors and the idea spreads fast. Your contribution will motivate others for the same. It will bring a positive change in the society as well. This will help The Mother Earth in the long run & loan on land-fills will reduce.

I will run the project to carry out Recycling of Paper, Plastic, Cans and also E-waste. In-fact this is the project I am carrying out since past 7-8 years & have contributed tons of recycling materials to the local recycling agencies. I have always followed the professional way of recycling. I motivated others & collectively arranged the recycled materials by organizing recycle-thons and other competitions among the community. A local recycling agency was kept as the monitor of the whole activity. They supervised & even honored the top contributor category wise. Later on they collected all the materials and transferred to their recycling factories.

I was even shown around their facility by specially arranged tours and they explained the whole process of recycling. Friends, you will be surprised to note that Beeah [Local recycling agency] recycles the car, building construction material, tires and many other unique items. The only issue is that they need contributions from the public & I was one of the top contributors in past years.

This project shall be my extension of efforts of many years and I am thankful to the platform of Tunza Eco-Generation where I can share such experiences so that it motivates other ambassadors of all regions. As such all are doing a great job and we are proud of our team of ambassadors.

Thanks for reading
